The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of demographic and socio-cultural factors of productive zakat recipients/mustahik affects the success of poverty alleviation through productive zakat schemes carried out by the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of East Lombok Regency. The number of respondents studied in this study were 100 respondents. The variables studied consisted of 9 (nine) independent variables covering demographic factors (number of family members, gender, education level, age, occupation, and business location) and socio-cultural factors (social habits in business, work culture in the household, and religiosity) and 1 (one) dependent variable seen from business success. The variable of business success is seen from the achievement of net profit per month from the business run at a minimum of Rp 2,201,832. This figure is derived from the poverty line set by BPS of Rp 550,458/capita/month with a family of 4 people. The results show that of the nine variables, only the age variable has a significant effect on the success of mustahik businesses. Mustahiks aged <45 are estimated to be 0.881 times more likely to succeed than mustahiks aged >46 years. Meanwhile, other variables such as the number of family members, gender, education level, occupation, business location, social habits in business, work culture in the household, and religiosity, have no significant effect on the success of mustahik businesses.
Adhitya Bagus Singandaru Ali Akbar Hidayat Muhammad Dzul Fadlli Ahmad Zaenal Wafik Copyright (c) 2024 Adhitya Bagus Singandaru, Ali Akbar Hidayat, Muhammad Dzul Fadlli, Ahmad Zaenal Wafik https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-03-26 2024-03-26 6 1 1 13 10.29303/e-jep.v6i1 DESAIN KEBIJAKAN PEMBAYARAN JASA LINGKUNGAN SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF UNTUK PEMBANGUNAN PARIWISATA BERKELANJUTAN DI PULAU KECIL : STUDI KASUS DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK UTARA http://elastisitas.unram.ac.id/index.php/elastisitas/article/view/139
The tourism industries on small islands frequently prioritize economic gains, while the environmental consequences of these activities, which include the impact on the ecosystem, are typically overlooked due to insufficient consideration of conservation costs. If this pattern persists, the marine parks in the region may eventually lose their appeal and adversely affect the tourism industry. The Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) program offers a potential avenue for executing conservation fundraising initiatives by leveraging contributions from travelers and tourism enterprises. This study employs a qualitative methodology to analyze public policies pertaining to the implementation of the PES program in Gili Matra. The study concluded that it is feasible to establish PES (Payment for Ecosystem Services) programs on Gili Matra through mandatory initiatives, with the aim of fostering a sustainable tourism sector.
Diswandi Diswandi Mansur Afifi Busaini Busaini Luluk Fadliyanti Muhammad Mujahid Dakwah Copyright (c) 2024 Diswandi Diswandi, Mansur Afifi, Busaini Busaini, Luluk Fadliyanti, Muhammad Mujahid Dakwah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-03-31 2024-03-31 6 1 14 18 10.29303/e-jep.v6i2 EMPLOYMENT FROM A GENDER PERSPECTIVE IN BALI PROVINCE http://elastisitas.unram.ac.id/index.php/elastisitas/article/view/155
Opportunities for women and men to compete in the job market are needed to accelerate increases in community productivity. Decent employment opportunities can be seen through the unemployment approach and the level of inactivity from non-labor force indicators. Inequality in development according to gender can result in suboptimal potential obtained from development. There is still visible discrimination or inequality towards female workers and male workers that can be seen from the contribution of women's income, the number of working hours, women's participation in labor force and the involvement of women in positions in professional. This is due to the existence of stereotypes about gender, apart from that, women are also faced with their natural instincts as women in taking care of the family, which results in the contribution of women's workforce not being optimal even though their human capital is equivalent to that of men's workers
Ida Ayu Gde Dyastari Saskara Marhaeni Anak Agung Istri Ngurah Copyright (c) 2024 Ida Ayu Gde Dyastari Saskara, Anak Agung Istri Agung Marhaeni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-03-26 2024-03-26 6 1 19 25 10.29303/e-jep.v6i3 TYPOLOGY ANALYSIS AND RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STUNTING PREVALENCE, ECONOMIC GROWTH AND GRDP PER CAPITA IN PROVINCE OF BALI http://elastisitas.unram.ac.id/index.php/elastisitas/article/view/149
This study aims to determine the dynamics of the growth pattern and structure of each city/regency in the Province of Bali and try to see its relationship with the stunting prevalence in the Province of Bali. The analytical method used in this research is the Klassen Typology analysis technique and the Spearman Rank Correlation. The results of the Klassen Typology analysis, when correlated with stunting data, show that the Buleleng area which is a developed area (quadrant 1) has a high stunting prevalence of 10.30%, while Tabanan is a relatively underdeveloped area (quadrant 4) has a stunting prevalence below the average Province of Bali (6.6%). The results of the correlation test with the Spearman Test showed that there was no significant relationship between economic growth and GDP per capita partially on the stunting prevalence in Province of Bali, but each of the two variables had a negative relationship. Thus, further research is needed regarding other facts regarding the stunting prevalence in the Province of Bali, so that it can provide a clear picture of the variables that influence the stunting prevalence in each district/city.
I Made Endra Kartika Yudha Ida Ayu Meisthya Pratiwi Ida Ayu Gde Dyastari Saskara I Gusti Agung Ayu Apsari Anandari Copyright (c) 2024 I Made Endra Kartika Yudha, Ida Ayu Meisthya Pratiwi, Ida Ayu Gde Dyastari Saskara, I Gusti Agung Ayu Apsari Anandari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-03-31 2024-03-31 6 1 26 33 10.29303/e-jep.v6i4 DAMPAK PEMBANGUNAN PLTU ROPA TERHADAP PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN DI DESA KELIWUMBU KECAMATAN MAUROLE KABUPATEN ENDE http://elastisitas.unram.ac.id/index.php/elastisitas/article/view/130
This research aims to explain the impact of the construction of the Ropa PLTU on sustainable development in Keliwumbu Village, Maurole District, Ende Regency, in the form of socio-economic and environmental impacts on the community of Keliwumbu Village. Mataram City is the capital of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province and is one of the centers of economic growth, with a high population growth rate compared to 10 other districts/cities in NTB. This population growth causes the demand for housing/own houses or property rights to be very high, but on the other hand, land is getting narrower and more expensive, resulting in house prices becoming expensive and this has a big impact on people who are less fortunate in terms of their income. To meet the demand for housing from the community, we encourage developers to build housing with various types/models that are tailored to the income and desires of the community. The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of population, per capita income and inflation on housing demand in Mataram City. This research uses secondary data obtained from BPS Mataram City, BPS NTB Province, NTB Housing Statistics and other data sources relevant to this research. The data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model with panel data and using the Eviews 12 calculation tool. The results of the study showed that the results of the multiple linear regression using the OLS method were found to have two variables that had a significant effect, namely the population and GRDP variables, while the inflation variable had an effect not significant.
Emi Salmah Iwan Harsono Baiq Ismiwati Baiq Saripta Wijimulawiani Tuti Handayani Copyright (c) 2024 Emi Salmah, Iwan Harsono, Baiq Ismiwati, Baiq Saripta Wijimulawiani, Tuti Handayani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-03-31 2024-03-31 6 1 76 84 10.29303/e-jep.v6i10
